A Playboy Playmate named Kymberly Herrin, who appeared in the movies "Ghostbusters" and "Legs" by ZZ Top, has passed away. She was 65. Theresa Ramirez, the star's niece, told Fox News Digital on Wednesday that she had passed away. Ramirez previously posted a picture of her aunt and her aunt's two deceased sisters on Facebook. According to an obituary in the Santa Barbara News-Press, Herrin passed away peacefully on October 28 in Santa Barbara, California. The family requested donations be made in Herrin's honour to the American Cancer Society "to further research of the prevention and treatment of cancer," even though the cause of death was not disclosed.
Ramirez admitted to Fox News Digital, "I definitely miss her. "I am now caring for my grandma, who was being looked after by her before she passed away. I must step into some really huge shoes. "Many individuals only focus on the obvious things. But she was most likely the most compassionate and nicest person I know. She would never disparage somebody. She upheld the peace.
Before being chosen to appear in the 1984 music video for ZZ Top's Legs, Herrin worked as a model for several publications, including twice for Playboy. The music video became one of the band's biggest hits, peaking in the U.S. and other nations' Top 10 charts. In the music video, the late actor claimed that she replaced one of three ladies who appeared in the first two videos but who the other two "didn't like."
In 1984, Robert Zemeckis' Romancing the Stone, starring Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner, landed Kymberly Herrin a part. In addition, Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Harold Ramis, and Sigourney Weaver appeared in Ivan Reitman's Ghostbusters. Mother Billie Dodson, brother Mark Herrin, and other nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews are left behind to care for Kymberly. To advance the study of breast cancer prevention and treatment, the family y donated money to the American Cancer Society.
